Business: Mascots, Transitions and More

I’ve been asked a number of times who are those two domino head characters on my website. Well, my friend, they are the official Hybmed mascots. To explain further, my ex business partner (ex because he moved back to Korea to join the army - forcefully) was the one who came up with the guy on the left. When I saw it I told him, “hey doesn’t his head look like the letter H to you with that line on his forehead?”. He promptly said “Yeah you’re right!” I later on suggested that we should make another one that resembles the letter M. And so we did. That’s how we came up these two blockheads.
Anyway, back to business. The real purpose of this post is to update you on what’s grinding in my little den of insanity. My business, Hybmed, is going through a fast transition. The changes really caught me off guard and now I’m trying my best to cope up. We’re getting a lot of projects in many different levels. Photography, website, product display and motion graphics are all getting boiled at the same time. I’m not even sure if I’ll ever have time to finish all of it in time, but one must not give up on any opportunities given. This is the plan. I have to make sure everything is maintained properly or else this business won’t make it in the long road.
But hold on! There’s more! I’ve officially opened an online store for Hybmed. This store will have Hybmed branded items as well as custom designed t-shirts. As of now, i’m only offering branded items. But later down the road, I’ll have more to show. The purpose of this store is to show integrity to old and potential clients. When they visit the site and see the store plus all the additional work I have in there, it should build confidence in them that this is serious business. We make things happen and we do it the best way we can.
It’ll be an exciting journey for me this year. There’s certainly a lot of ups and downs ever since this year started and some of them were really unpleasant. But I survived and ready to start anew. Do the best I can do now and tomorrow will be another challenging day!

Nice website! Add me to your blogroll and I’ll add you to mine — a little advertising can’t hurt.
Hey, are you still in school? Just wondering, since you’ve got this business and everything.
