Whenever I am reminded of summer the first thing that comes to my head is a song called 사랑을 잃고 난 노래하네 (Forget about love and sing) by 8eight.

I think the song talks about break up, wind, singing, sun shining, eyes tearing… (man I really need to work on my Korean) I just found another video with subs!

Anyway, I cannot stress enough how much I LOVE this song. It just reminds me so much of my friends and all the crazy things we did every summer. All the spontaneous road trips, cottage escapades, movie nights, etc…

But all of that are now memories never to be forgotten. Life had to part our ways and somehow it just doesn’t feel the same to do the things we all used to do when some of us are missing. I guess this is what makes this song so special. All the laughter, the crazy antics, the drama, and the retarded-ness we all shared for more than four years are now remnants of this tune.

Hopefully someday we can all gather up and hit the road once more. And maybe we can all enjoy the same tune that reminded us of the family we built before.
